I teach therapists about positive psychotherapy tools, solution-focused tools, hypnosis and relationship coaching. Some therapists ask for individual coaching, and I always start them on the same thing:

-Keep a gratitude diary. Write gratitude notes. Talk about the things you are grateful for. Be the change you want to see in the world.

While learning skills is useful for therapists, a change of heart is the most important thing. It is not what you do with clients that heals them.

It is who you are. A kind heart, a compassionate eye, an appreciative ear matters far more than a head full of tools.

Here are the dates and locations of my therapy training workshops:

It has been s five year since you presented in Austin, TX, with the seminar now available on “Freebies”. You remain my favorite still.
Is there anything I can do to help get you back to the flatlands for a day or two?

    Lynn,

I absolutely adore reading anything you have written. I attended one of your trainings this summer in Portland OR and it was fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing your specific blessings with all of us. You are doing amazing work.

    Melinda
